The National Technical Institute for the Deaf at the Rochester Institute of Technology has prepared a book on Mainstreaming: Practical Ideas for Educating Hearing-Impaired Students.

Copies are available for $10 each from the Publication Sales Department, Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf, 3417 Volta Place, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20007.

In addition, the National Information Center on Deafness has reproduced, with the ntid's permission, a five-page "Teacher's Checklist" encompassing a range of information helpful to those dealing with hearing-impaired students.

Copies of the checklist and further information are available from the center, located at Gallaudet University, 800 Florida Ave., N.E., Washington, D.C. 20002.
