CHESTER, Pa. (AP) — One person was wounded when shots were fired outside an already troubled high school near Philadelphia.

The gunshots were fired Tuesday morning outside Chester High School, which is in one of the state’s poorest school districts. The school was promptly locked down.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting.
