Educational Tour Of New Zealand

In a 15-day tour (July 10-25), teachers, administrators, and college professors gain an in-depth view of the country’s national curriculum, site-based management program, whole language teaching, and authentic assessment.

Meet with education leaders from the Ministry of Education, the Council for Educational Research, the teachers’ and administrators’ joint union, and colleges of education.

American participants will spend workdays at school with their New Zealand counterparts. Participants may be eligible to earn graduate credit.

Cost of $2,700 per person, double occupancy, includes airfare from Los Angeles, hotel accommodations and homestays, and most ground transportation and meals. Contact Miriam Thomas, 5 Park Place, Rochester, NY 14625; (716)586-6251.
