More than 500 NH teachers to brainstorm reforms
KEENE, N.H. (AP) — Hundreds of New Hampshire teachers are gathering at Keene State College to brainstorm innovations in education and how best to measure their results.
The conference is sponsored by the college and the New Hampshire Department of Education.
More than 500 teachers are expected to attend and fashion reforms that they can then customize to their respective schools.
Education Commissioner Virginia Barry says state administrators and teachers continue to raise the bar each year. She says she expects the conference to produce innovations that will benefit students in grades K-12.
