Southern Regional Education Board

An interstate compact for education that helps government and education leaders work cooperatively to advance education and improve the social and economic life of the region. The SREB assists state leaders by identifying and directing attention to key issues; collecting, compiling, and analyzing comparable data; and conducting broad studies and initiating discussions that lead to recommendations for state and institutional long-range planning, actions, and policy proposals.
