Representatives of school systems, institutions of higher education, civic organizations, and parents are a part of the NAYRE. The NAYRE fosters the study of year-round education as a way to improve educational programs—by providing continuous instruction, adapting the school calendar to the community and family living patterns, and by attaining optimum economic efficiency.
