National Association for Alternative Certification

NAAC seeks to expand the options available to individuals to achieve certification for teaching or administration at the elementary or secondary level. The goal of NAAC is to improve preparation programs for those who did not initially choose to prepare for teaching occupations, as well as for those already in teacher prep programs. The group sponsors an annual conference, and publishes a newsletter and online journal.
