National Alliance of Black School Educators

Black educators from all levels and others indirectly involved in the education of black youth make up this alliance. NABSE promotes awareness, professional expertise, and commitment among black educators. The alliance aims to: eliminate and rectify the results of racism in education; work with state, local and national leaders to raise the academic achievement level of all black students; increase members' involvement in legislative activities; facilitate the introduction of a curriculum that more completely embraces black America; improve the ability of black educators to promote problem resolution; create a meaningful and effective network of strength, talent, and professional support.
