Milton & Rose D. Friedman Foundation, The

The idea of the Friedman Foundation was conceived by Milton and Rose Friedman in 1955. Since then, the Friedman Foundation's mission has "promoted public understanding of the need for major reform in K-12 education and of the role that competition through educational choice can play in achieving that reform." The foundation achieves this by campaigning and defending school choice programs both domestically and internationally.
