American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance

Founded in 1885, the AAHPERD includes students and educators in physical education, dance, health, athletics, safety education, recreation, and outdoor education. The AAHPERD provides its members with such services as consultation, periodicals, and special publications, leadership development, and determination of standards and research.
