Ritalin

The most widely used drug to treat attention-deficit disorder, a condition characterized by an inability to concentrate affecting between 3 and 10 percent of U.S. school-age children. Ritalin, the trade name for the drug methylphenidate, is said to help filter out unwanted stimuli in the brain.
