Help

Sunday, July 6, 2008

The new edweek.org is organized into four main sections:

  • Education Week houses news on education policy from our print newspaper as well as Daily News from across the Web.
  • Teacher Magazine includes the contents of our print magazine plus other online-only features of interest to classroom professionals.
  • Research Center is where you'll find a range of information on education topics, including our Issues A-Z pages, detailed State Information pages and our new Education Counts database of state-level education indicators.
  • Agent K-12 provides career and recruitment information and offers a searchable database of K-12 education positions along with powerful tools for finding a job.

Additional Help Information

Links to these four sections appear in the top bar of every page of the site. Also in that bar is a search window that allows you to search across the site to find articles in our archives as well as other information on our site.

Within each section of the site, you'll find a left navigation bar linking to information organized by topics relevant to that section.

With the exception of Agent K-12, registration is required to go beyond the main page of each section. Registration is free and requires only some basic information to help us serve you better.

If you previously registered at Education Week on the Web, the e-mail address and password you used there should still work on the new edweek.org. In the past, you generally did not have to login upon entering the site. Now, if you want to keep getting logged in automatically, check the box next to the login form that says "Save Password."

You'll find more information about the new edweek.org in our Tour.
