Lifetime Achievement in Mathematics Ed.

The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, a Reston, Va.-based association of math educators, has awarded the Mathematics Education Trust Lifetime Achievement Awards for Distinguished Service to Mathematics Education to Frank K. Lester Jr., of Bloomington, Ind., and Robert E. Reys, of Columbia, Mo. The two educators were selected for their lifetime of work as mathematics educators and researchers.
