David Hespe, a former New Jersey state education commissioner, has been tapped by Gov. Chris Christie to take that job once again.

Mr. Hespe, who served in that role under former Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, will have to be confirmed by the state Senate.

Most recently, he was the president of Burlington County College, a two-year school in Pemberton, N.J.
