Boy, 11, brings unloaded gun to NYC summer school
NEW YORK (AP) — An 11-year-old boy faces disciplinary action for bringing an unloaded gun to a Staten Island summer school.
Education Department spokeswoman Margie Feinberg says the boy reportedly showed the weapon to two other students on Friday at Public School 373.
Authorities say the boy apparently also pulled the trigger on the unloaded gun and threatened classmates.
Chief of Detectives Phil Pulaski tells CBS New York (http://cbsloc.al/15IDs7S ) that it was a defaced .45-caliber handgun.
