The Institute of Education Sciences within the U.S. Department of Education awarded the University of Pennsylvania’s graduate school of education with $700,000 in grant money to pay for a longitudinal study of International Baccalaureate students.

The study will focus on the relationship between participation in the IB Diploma Program and postsecondary outcomes including college readiness, college access, bachelor’s degree attainment, and academic performance.
