National Youth Leadership Council Grant

The Bloomington, Ill.-based State Farm Youth Advisory Board, a youth-run division of State Farm Insurance that funds service-learning programs, has awarded an $80,000 grant to the St. Paul, Minn.-based National Youth Leadership Council, a nonprofit that promotes service-learning among adults and youths. The grant is part of a $5 million-per-year initiative that rewards community improvements in the U.S. and in Canada.

Bank of America Grants

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., has awarded a $1 million grant to the Philadelphia-based National Constitution Center, a nonprofit museum that provides education on constitutional issues. The grant will contribute to programs at an NCC theater for families that encourages civic participation among students in middle and high school.
