The newly elected state’s attorney in Will County, Ill., has dropped charges against two state officials who were charged with reckless conduct after students and teachers were sickened by contaminated school lunches. James Glasgow said last month that he found no legal basis for the criminal charges against the Illinois State Board of Education employees in the November 2002 incident at Laraway Elementary School in Joliet.
