The event is sponsored by the Burger King Corporation in cooperation with the Council of Chief State School Officers and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
To be featured on promotional materials distributed in Burger King restaurants throughout the country, the reading list will also be made available to parents and local communities through public libraries and school systems.
