Bishops Issue Warning on Schools' Clinics

The nation's Roman Catholic bishops are distributing pamphlets addressed to "the youth of our country'' exhorting them to "say 'No' to premarital sexual activity.''

The bishops' brochure is based on a statement they adopted last November in which they opposed school-based health clinics that distribute contraceptives and provide abortion counseling. In the new document, the prelates dispute five "claims'' they say are made by supporters of such clinics:
