Teachers can give their students a head start on summer by passing along this helpful job site. Finding summer employment can be tough for high schoolers, especially in today’s job market, but there are still plenty of opportunities for Web-savvy students. MyFirstPaycheck.com has an interactive résumé builder, which enables students to type in their personal work experience and get a sample résumé within seconds. After creating a résumé, students can apply to thousands of targeted jobs. Each posting also indicates how many other applicants have already applied, so users have an idea of the level of competitiveness for each job. With this site, students can find summer jobs or internships that provide experience, can teach valuable life skills, and may also pay out some green.
